With the current Global conflicts
continuing at pace, the total amount of seriously wounded
continues to grow. The common thought is “The government
looks after them for life so what’s the issue”. The issue is
what is now becoming apparent, slowly, to all. The degree to
which the government looks after OUR wounded warriors varies
greatly, with apparently those less able getting the least.
Operation VISIT Family is aimed at the family, The initial
goal is to bring one family per week to the vacation capital
of the World for an ALL EXPENSES PAID family vacation.

It
may be hard to believe, however nonetheless still true, that
some lower rank families still rely on food banks and social
programs such as Women Infant Children (WIC) to survive. Couple
that fact with the recent press reports of the condition of the
VA hospitals.
In talking to Veterans with recent experiences of the overall
VA attitude to the wounded and injured, the awful
truth is that as a nation, many
do not care what happens once the military member leaves
the theater of conflict.
WE, and YOU as individuals DO care, but what
can WE do about OUR injured military members? WE CAN help and make
life a little more pleasant, even for a short period for a few of
these warriors and THEIR families. WE HELP by providing veterans and
their families with happy memories, which, no matter what their
personal financial status, cannot be taken from them.
VETERANS have already paid an arm, leg, mind,
or worse, ON OUR behalf and we would like to bring them and their
Family (Spouse and Children) to the vacation Capital of the world
here in Orlando for a brief respite from financial and military
pressures, without ANY further cost to them. At least, but not
limited to, transport to and from Orlando (and between accommodation
and resorts), meals and accommodation, theme park tickets, and a
little cash for discretionary spending. In other words, provide
everything WE could think to support OUR TROOPERS.
